By placing an order through our site, you warrant that:
You are legally capable of entering into binding contracts; and

Visa, Mastercard and Switch are accepted as methods of payment. All transactions are in pounds sterling.
Delivery:
Delivery can only be made to mainland UK addresses, the charges are as follows:
Standard delivery up to 2 kg £4.50
Standard delivery 2kg – 4kg £7.00
Guaranteed next day delivery up to 2 kg £8.65
Guaranteed next day delivery over 2 kg £21.65
In most cases the standard service on orders received prior to 4:00pm for delivery to addresses in Mainland UK is that the goods will be delivered within three to five working days (i.e. If you place your order before 4:00pm on Monday your goods should be delivered before the following Tuesday). If an order is received after 4:00pm then it will be treated as a next day order (i.e. If you place your order after 4:00pm on Friday it will be treated as a Monday order)
If your order is urgent then you can opt for Next day delivery. This guarantees delivery to 99% of UK addresses by 1pm the next working day.
The Order Process:
In order For you the customer to take advantage of our internet pricing all orders must be placed online via our online store.
We understand the importance of a reliable delivery service and keeping you the customer informed of the status of your order once placed.
When you place an order you will receive an email which is confirmation that the order has been received by our online store. This email will contain a list of the products ordered and the total cost. A final email will be sent when your order has been dispatched.
Unavailability:
In the event that a product is unavailable for whatever reason, we will contact you to ask you whether you would like us to supply a suitable alternative product. We will not supply you with an alternative product unless we receive instruction from you that you wish us to do so. If you opt not to purchase an alternative product, we will refund the full value of the product and any applicable carriage charges.
Pricing:
All prices quoted are inclusive of VAT. The only additional charge above the price quoted for the item is a carriage charge and an optional additional charge for a next day delivery.
The VAT element of each purchase is clearly detailed on the Building Skills Centre Invoice that will be dispatched with the goods.
Our site contains a large number of Products and it is always possible that, despite our best efforts, some of the Products listed on our site may be incorrectly priced. We will normally verify prices as part of our dispatch procedures so that, where a Product's correct price is less than our stated price, we will charge the lower amount when dispatching the Product to you. If a Product's correct price is higher than the price stated on our site, we will normally, at our discretion, either contact you for instructions before dispatching the Product, or reject your order and notify you of such rejection. We are under no obligation to provide the Product to you at the incorrect (lower) price, even after we have sent you a Dispatch Confirmation, if the pricing error is obvious and unmistakable and could have reasonably been recognised by you as a mis-pricing.
Guarantees:
The Building Skills Centre take care to ensure that all the products featured on this website are of a high quality.
As part of our commitment to quality we provide 1 year's guarantee on all Hand Tool products on this website provided that they have been used, at all times, in the correct manner.
As far as Power Tools are concerned The Building Skills Centre follows the manufacturer's policy, details of which will be included with the product.
If a product is faulty and under guarantee you should follow the procedures detailed below.
Faulty, Incorrectly Supplied, Damaged or Faulty Items:
If an item has been incorrectly supplied, received damaged or is faulty then all you need to do is follow the Returns Procedures. We will then arrange collection of the item(s) free of charge. In respect of faulty or damaged goods a replacement will be sent on receipt of the goods. If an item has been incorrectly supplied, upon receipt of the item(s) we will refund the full value of the goods and any carriage costs within 30 days or sent the correct item.
Returns & Refunds :
The Building Skills Centre aims to provide you with as much information as we can about each product so that you can make an informed purchasing decision. However, if you decide any item if it is not what you require you may return it as long as it has not been used and is returned in its original undamaged packaging. Items must be returned within 30 days of receipt.
All you need to do is to contact us at returns@buildingskillscentre.co.uk and we will issue you with a Returns Form and Returns Code. You should then return the item(s) to us by the together with a completed Goods Return Form . Unfortunately we cannot accept proof of posting as confirmation of delivery.
Upon receipt of the item(s) we will refund the full value less a 20% restocking fee, of the item(s) subject to them being unused and in their original condition and packaging. You will be responsible for the costs for returning the goods to us.
Written communications:
Applicable laws require that some of the information or communications we send to you should be in writing. When using our site, you accept that communication with us will be mainly electronic. We will contact you by e-mail or provide you with information by posting notices on our website. For contractual purposes, you agree to this electronic means of communication and you acknowledge that all contracts, notices, information and other communications that we provide to you electronically comply with any legal requirements that such communications should be in writing. This condition does not affect your statutory rights.
